Hello keith while i was away i purchased from a well known internet auction site the small brass.
Wires or rods connected at one end to the signals and points and at the other to levers in the signal box.
A type 7 box was opened here on 21st december 1902.

Inside the box was a small coal burning stovewith an oven on top and two paraffin lamps for lighting.
